Minister tourism sports and Culture Fida Khan has said Tourism policy is being formulated to promote tourism industry in Gilgit-Baltistan.
This he said in an interview to our Gilgit correspondent Sher Muhammad on Friday.
Minister said that one million tourists visited GB previous year while one point two million tourists target was fixed for the next year.
He said tourist information centers would be set up in Gilgit and Skardu airports and in all district to facilitate them.
Calendar of events would be implemented and steps will be taken for development of sports and culture.
He pointed out that thirty three polo grounds have been upgraded throughout Gilgit-Baltistan.
