KADO /HILDP project celebrated women day on 8th March 2015 with collaboration of AKHSP MCCS project invited entire Hunza region women organizations to attend women day with deep hope and desire. More than hundred women organizations participants participated the world women day and show their solidarity with the day. The session key speaker were Ms Susun Aziz Gender Specialist Gems and Jewelry AKRSP, Ms, Falak Naz Taj gender development officer mother care and child survival, Dr. Aysha Saleem medical consultant extended health unit Alibad AKHSP, Ms Saima Khan assist professor University of Karachi and Hussan Meherban Associate educator ITREB. The speakers have realized the women that economic sustainability, constitutional given rights and tolerance will pull women from the societal vulnerability. During the session Gilgit-Baltistan icon (Samina Baig etc) women video clips have shown to the audience to encourage them to stand-up and work hard for their rights and responsibility.
