Furious glacier lake outburst flood on Sunday slummed Hussaini village in Gojal valley and has blocked a large portion of the KKH. Hundreds of commuters with tens of vehicles have stuck on both sides of the affected area. Sources from the spot informed Hunzanews that a large number pipes for irrigation and water supply to the Hussaini village and electricity poles have been inundated by the flood, which has resulted in electricity suspension to the lower parts of Gojal. This flooding has been continuing for the last two months and has badly affected the irrigation and drinking water pipelines, several acres of land and thousands of trees of the Hussaini village. Meanwhile the local administration keeps on staying silent observer over the terrible situation in the area and turned a blind eyes towards the sufferings of the commuters, local people and tourists.
