National woman football team vice captain Malika-e-Noor of Gilgit-Baltistan said it was so wonderful to play football with these orphan children.

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan women national football team Tuesday visited Pakistan Sweet Home (PSH) and played a football match with orphan girls known as ‘sweet angels.’ The purpose of the event titled “Peace through Football” was to create awareness about women football in the country. A nine-year-old sweet angel from North Waziristan, Hafsah said: “I am really happy to play football, it is amazing day of my life and I want to represent Pakistan at the national level by playing football.”
Former MNA Mrs Kashmala Tariq celebrated her birthday with the orphan girls of Pakistan Sweet Homes, saying: “Today is my best day of life. I assure my volunteer work for kids of Pakistan Sweet Homes.”
It was cheerful evening and it turned into jovial night when these kids and national team football players started to sing national songs together, said a press release.
National football team vice captain Malika E Noor of Gilgit-Baltistan said it was so wonderful to play football with these orphan children. “I also met orphan kids belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan and I was totally surprised to see the great facilities for them. I also appeal the national and international community to join the cause of Pakistan Sweet Homes.”
Pakistan Sweet Homes Patron-in-chief Zamurrad Khan said: “We have to have healthy events like this to create awareness about sports. I am thankful to Women National team for joining us today.” At the end of the event, homage was paid to the martyrs of Charsada. “This is the time that we all have to unite together against the evil of terrorism and show solidarity towards Pakistan Army,” said Zamurrad.
