These words and few lines are not enough to appreciate the service of a true teacher, mentor and educationist but his work for the area depicts his efforts and contributions.
Ibrahim Khan Khalil hailing from Gulmit Gojal Hunza, served the Government Education Department of Gilgit-Baltistan for almost 28 years. He did his MA Urdu from University of Karachi and remained a social worker during his student life. He started his career as a teacher in Al-Azhar School Gilgit and later he joined Education Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan. He was posted in F.G Boys High School Gulmit initially, after wards he continued his services in F.G Degree College Aliabad Hunza. After his service of almost 9 years he was promoted to the position of ADIS-Gojal. During his career as ADIS he was given additional task of monitoring the schools of Hunza-Nagar as-well. In his final years of service he was deputed in the Deputy Director’s Office, District Hunza-Nagar while for two months he was again posted as HM-DDO in F.G Boys High School Gulmit. He worked as coordinator of Allama Iqbal Open University in Hunza-Nagar too. He is officially retired from serving education department of Gilgit-Baltistan on October 2, 2014.
By nature he is a sincere, hardworking, committed and a true mentor. He always promoted simplicity and encouraged to follow the rules and regulations of his department in particular and state in general. He had a vision of promoting education in the area.
