Woman killed, 4 injured by unprovoked Indian firing in Charwa sector

SIALKOT: Indian troops’ unprovoked firing and shelling in blatant violation of ceasefire killed a woman and injured four civilians in Sialkot Charwa sector, Geo News reported Monday morning.

Sources said Pakistan Rangers’ retaliatory firing silenced the guns of the Indian army, however it has created a fear and panic among the citizens of bordering villages in Jarwal and Charwa sector of Sialkot.

 A woman died and four villagers were injured by Indian army firing, while scores of cattle also came under the firing got wounded in Charwa sector’s villages Khokha and Harpal, source said.

 Rangers’ sources said that the Indian troops went on wanton firing and shelling in Charwa sector killing a woman and injuring four civilians. Later, the Indian guns were silenced after a befitting reply from Pakistan side.
