CHITRAL: A function was held at the Government Middle School Parsan in connection with the Independence Day of Pakistan.

A large number of students, parents, teachers and notables of the village and nearby areas attended the function. Students on the occasion presented national songs and highlighted the movement for the creation of the country. Shabbir Khan, a notable of the village, was chief guest while the function was presided over Sardar Khan, the chairman of the parents-teachers committee. Headmaster Merajuddin thanked the guests and also spoke on the importance of the day.
