Saeeda Mirbaz, belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan, won first position in the International Book-Writing competition, held in the USA among 1,900 competitors participating from 25 countries of the world. More, she achieved 125 certificates and awards from different academic institutions and organizations of Pakistan, United Kingdom and United States of America. For her best performances at national and international level,Former Prime Minister of PAKISTAN, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani awarded a cash prize of five lakh rupees. More, she got appreciations from the President Azad Jamu and Kashmir (AJK), Prime Minister AJK, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Senator Saeeda Iqbal, Senator Akram Zaki, Norwegian Ambassador Norwegian ambassador to Pakistan Cecilie Landsverk and many others. The Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, in a statement complementing her outstanding performance, said, “Ms. Saeeda Mirbaz has made the people of Pakistan proud and brought a good name to the country through her splendid performance”. He further added, “Ms. Saeeda Mir’s example is a beacon of light for the rest of youth, especially, for girls. I sincerely hope that they would take a leaf from her book and make us proud”. Referring to Gilgit-Baltistan, to which Ms. Saeeda Mir belongs, he said that the government implemented Gilgit-Baltistan Empowerment & Self-Government Ordinance in accordance with the long-standing demands of the people of the region.. Saeeda said that there is a need of encouragement of talent and to give chances to the youth to demonstrate their abilities. She said that the development of backward areas and provision of educational opportunities should be the prime focus of the government’s policies. Saeeda Mirbaz should play her tremendous role for youth of Gilgit-Baltistan. She is “Governor to National Youth Assembly Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan”. Saeeda Mirbaz has rendered tremendous contributions at all forums for women empowerment and gender biases. To her credit, she has delivered more than 150 speeches starting from Primary school to high level. She is International speaker, Author, and Organizational Expert. In recognition to her valuable services and performances, numerous foreign agencies have awarded her with the distinction of laurels and awards. Saeeda Mirbaz was a student of Justice from Harvard University. She had studied law and to join hands of struggle for women emancipation and upliftment.
