ISLAMABAD: The federal capital has been cut off from the Gran Trunk (GT) Road while heavy contingent of police have been deployed around the D-Chowk.

Sources said that GT road leading to Islamabad had been blocked through shipping containers in Rawat.
The arrangements are being made in the wake of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek long marches.
