Mr.Rahmatullah baig S/O Sanaullah khan was born on 18th April 1929 at Baltit hunza. He completed his primary and secondary education at hunza and Gilgit.In June,1947 he proceeded with his colleagues to sri Nagir,Kashmir for higher studies. but due to the war between India and Pakistan in Kashmir, returned to Gilgit. After a year he went to Karachi . He joined service in jan bai maternity home in may 1954 and after completing 15 years services he resigned and came back to Hunza in 1968.
He was appointed as president, His Highness prince Aga Khan Ismili Local council, Karim abad in 1972, and also appointed as chairman , Aga khan Regional Heath Board for Hunza.He was holding double portfolios. He was appointed as member of H.H.Prince aga Khan central heath Board for Pakistan executive committee. after completing 15 years service he was retired and His Highness honored him with the title RAI.
