A number of live electric wires pass through the balcony of a double-storey building in Kuragh. But the civic authorities remain totally oblivious to the danger the live wires pose to the lives of the inhabitants. When Chitraltoday.net contact the owner of the building, Shah Abdul Hussain, he said the civic authorities were demanding about Rs60,000 for diverting the route of these dangerous wires. This shows a complete lack of planning by the civic authorities and corruption in the government departments.
