A seminar jointly organised by Gilgit-Baltistan government and Karakoram International University on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is being held in Gilgit on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, Chinese Ambassador, political and military leadership are likely to attend the event.
China has announced to help Pakistan establish state-of-the-art technical and vocational institutes at strategic nodes along the CPEC route including Gilgit, Mansehra, D.I.Khan, Abbottabad, Quetta and Gawadar.
