ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Saturday approved demand of grants of Rs 11,600,778,000 for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit- Baltistan Division for the fiscal year 2016-17.

The demand of grants was presented to the House by Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

The grants include Rs 298,315,000 for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit- Baltistan Division, Rs 25,463,000 for its other expenditures, Rs 227,000,000 for Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Rs 11,050,000,000 for development expenditure of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan.
