Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rehman said the optical fiber project which is part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project will make Pakistan hub of telecommunication in the region.
She said the government is pursuing the project of Digital Pakistan to ensure that the broadband services reach the unserved and underserved areas of the country.
The Minister said a comprehensive strategy is being evolved to ensure provision of 3 G and 4G services in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.(radio.gov)
