Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz-ur-Rehman says government is taking measures to harness potential in hydro power sector to overcome energy shortage.
Talking to a delegation in Gilgit on Friday, he said provincial government has prepared feasibility report for production of 388 megawatt hydro power in Gilgit-Baltistan.
CM said a regional gird is being set up to smooth the distribution of electricity in the region.
