The criticism from PTI came from Dr Shireen Mazari, Central Information Secretary PTI in Islamabad on Sunday. She said it is a clear case of pre poll rigging as PMLN has never played without having their own umpires and fixing matches – beginning from 1990.

She said PTI and its Chairman Imran Khan will fight till they expose the 2013 electoral fraud before the nation.

The federal government on Saturday issued notification giving additional charge to federal minister for G-B and Kashmir Affairs Birjees Tahir as governor Gilgit-Baltistan [G-B].

“This has been notified,” sources toldOutpost. With the notification, the nearly-4 year governorship of Pir Karam Ali Shah came to an end.

Earlier president Mamnoon Hussain on advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif endorsed the summary that contained suggestions for giving dual role to minister.

Previously in 2009, PPP had given the dual responsibility to Qamar Zaman Kaira making him governor as well as federal minister G-B and Kashmir Affairs. But that had happened before introduction of governance order 2009.
