Few days back the city police of Gilgit arrests an armed man during a usual search at a walk through gate near Gadi Bagh Gilgit.

According to the PRO Gilgit-Baltistan Police, the GB police arrested a man named as Abdul Ghafar s/o Samad Mir resident of Darel Diamer with a pistol and 25 bullets during a routine search at a walk through gate situated at Gadi Bagh Gilgit. Ghafar was handed over to the city police station.
This walk through gate was installed by the Department of Special Branch Gilgit-Baltistan. The AIG special branch Mr. Mirza Hassan has announced promotions to CC-3 and cash prizes for two security personnels Naik Alam and Salman for the efforts.
