Islamabad:GBSM condemns arrest of Comrade Baba Jan, others

The Gilgit-Baltistan Socialist Movement (GBSM) strongly condemns the biased and Pakistani establishment sponsored verdict of the so-called anti terrorism court of Gilgit-the headquarters of the disputed Gilgit-Baltistan region-regarding the life-time-imprisonment of the GB motherland’s son, the leftest leader Comrade Baba Jan along with the other innocent poor people from the region. The GBSM has urged upon the anti terrorism court in Gilgit to withdraw its judgement regarding the aforesaid shameful and unjust decision. Addressing the the core-committee meeting, the President GBSM appealed from the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, especially the youth of the region to come out on the roads from Gojal to Skardu against this injustice move. He said the GBSM believes in justice,peace and equality, therefore we give yet another chance to the court to review its decision. Addressing the meeting, the leaders of GBSM expressed their resolve to fight for the release of comrade Baba Jan and his followers. They said Gilgit-Baltistan is being brutally treated and ruled by the establishment of Pakistan, while this black judgement by the touts of the Pakistani establishments will not work anymore.
