ATC Gilgit Verdict, three absconders receive 10 years imprisonment and one convicted receives 9 and half years imprisonment.

GILGIT (Reporter) : The Supreme Appellate Court of Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) has admitted a petition challenging recently made appointments in the G-B services tribunal.

Raja Shehbaz Khan, ATC ( Anti Terrorism Court), gave his verdict on the incident that occurred in central Hunza on August 11, 2011, during a demonstration by the IDPs of Atababd. Three absconders, Mr. Ramat Karim, Salman and Jalal Uddin receive ten years imprisonment and another culprit Mr. Amir Khan son of Taighoon Shah received nine and half years imprisonment for vandalizing the government properties, including Rest House, DC residence, Police Station and AC Office.
During CM visit to Hunza on August 11, 2011 IDPs of Ata Abad were demonstrating for their rehabilitation, but demonstrations had taken a serious run, resulting the killing of a father and son by police shootings.
