Another dengue fever case reported in Sindh

KARACHI: Another dengue viral fever case has been reported in Sindh on Friday increasing the number of confirmed cases this year to 135, said Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Dr Shakeel Aamir Mullick.

Dr Mullick said a total of 135 dengue fever cases had so far been reported in 2014 of which 127 were reported from Karachi one in Hyderabad and five from the rest of Sindh.

Mullick said that one new dengue fever case was reported in Thatta on March 14.

He said two dengue cases were also reported from Balochistan province.

A dengue patient had expired in Karachi this year so far, he said. (PPI)
