CHITRAL, July 24: The prolonged power outages coupled with extremely low voltage has not only put the residents of Chitral in a bind but also caused irreparable loss to them by damaging their household electronic appliances.
People engaged in repairing these appliances, including refrigerators, TV sets, said that with the onset of the summer season they have been flooded with the requests to repair such appliances. they said that low voltage sometimes falling to 40 to 20 volts was the main cause of damaging household appliances.
