Ghulkin, November 29(HunzaNews): A group of youth belonging to Ghulkin village of Gojal have started an ambulance service which will help patients to commute between their homes and the boat stand from where they can go to Aliabad for better health care.
It is pertinent to note that the Gojal Valley has been suffering due to lack of health facilities in the region. While the government has provided ambulance to the region but it is insufficient for the more than 25,000 people living in scattered valleys and villages.
The ambulance service will not only provide youth to earn livelihood, it will also enable a much needed service for the region’s population.
